Experts assert that there is a remote possibility that everyone of us has a doppelganger. Whether this
also applies to animals, a cat by the name of P.B. undoubtedly noticed her resemblance in an old
painting.
A photo of P.B., or Princess Bubblegum, the cat owner’s pet, is displayed next to a photo of what looks
to be the same cat from a 1906 Japanese painting by Hishida Shuns titled Cat with Plum Blossoms. The
user u/CatFan499 posted the article on Reddit on Monday. The owner told Newsweek that although
they are unaware of her exact age because they adopted her as a kitten in the middle of 2015, they
think she is around seven.
According to Live Science, there is only “so much genetic material” that can be used before it is likely to
be used again. This makes the idea of having a double entirely possible. According to the Great Cat blog,
which keeps track of all the instances that cats are mentioned in literature, history, and art, over 100
artists chose to represent cats in art during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including in paintings,
sculptures, advertisements, and greeting cards.
Users gave their opinion in the comment section of the video. User ,Ninjas4cool, mocked the
circumstance by remarking, “OK! Who allowed the cat to go through time? The interesting thing,
according to HiveMindKing, is that cats behave exactly the same way regardless of the time period.
Whether it’s a couple [of] thousand years in the past or the future, all they have to do is be cats and do
crazy things. You know he still has at least nine lives remaining, Violated-Tristen said. Reincarnation is
also real, according to _ItsAllenNotAlan.
